| Removal and Installation |

Remove the engine cover.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

| 3. |
Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust Manifold System - "Air Cleaner")

Remove the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from
cylinder head and the intake manifold.
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the PCV hose(A), vacumm hose(B).
|
| 6. |
Loosen the throttle body fixed bolts (A).
|
| 7. |
Remove the oil level gauge assembly.
(Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil Level Gauge & Pipe")

| 8. |
Remove the Intake Manifold (A).
|
| 9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector. 3. Measure the resistance between terminal "+" and "-" of the evaporator temperature sensor.
Description The cruise control system is engaged by the cruise "ON/OFF" main switch located on right of steering wheel column. The system has the capability to cruise, coast, accelerate and resume speed. It also has a safety interrupt, engaged upon depressing brake or shifting select lever.
