Inspection
1.
Loosen the cruise control switch connector.

Check for resistance between terminals in each switch position.

Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the steering wheel assembly.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")
3.
Remove the steering lower cover (A).

4.
Loosen the steering remote control switch mounting screw.

5.
Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the steering wheel remote control switch (B).

Installation
1.
Install the steering wheel remote control after connecting the connector.
2.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Replacement
1.
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering wheel")
2.
Loosen the screw and then remove the lower cover (A).

3.
Loosen the remote control switch mounting screws (A).

4.
Disconnect the remote control switch connector (A).

5.
Loosen the screw and then remove the remote control switch (A).
