Inspection

Front Seat Heater

Check for continuity and measure the resistance between terminals No 3 and No 6.

Standard value

Driver / Assists (cushion + back) :

Seat Back : 3.13Ω ± 10%

Seat Cushion : 1.17Ω ± 10%

Operate the seat heater after connecting the connector, and then check the thermostat by measuring the temperature of seat surface.

Standard value

1st : cushion : 36±2°C, back : 40±2°C

2st : cushion : 39±2°C, back : 45±2°C

3st : cushion : 42±2°C, back : 50±2°C

Removal

[Drive / Passenger Seat Heater Unit]

1.	Remove the passenger seat. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Assembly")

2.	Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the seat heater unit (B).

[Seat Heater Pad]

1.	Remove the passenger seat. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Assembly")

2.	Remove the front seat cushion/ back cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Back Cover") (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Cushion Cover")

3.	Disconnect the heater pad from front seat cushion/back. [Cushion] [Back]

Installation

[Drive / Passenger Seat Heater Unit]

1.	Install the seat heater unit.

2.	Install the passenger seat assembly.

[Seat Heater Pad]

1.	Install the seat cushion/back heater pad.

2.	Install the seat cushion/back cover.

3.	Install the front seat assembly.
