Pull the hood rat release handle.

Separate the hood latch release handle cable (A).

| 3. |
Loosen the mounting screws and remove the hood latch release handle
(A).

| 4. |
Loosen the mounting screw, bolts and remove the crash pad lower panel
(A).

| 5. |
Press the lock pin and separate the diagnostic connector (A)
|
| 6. |
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Replacement • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
Replacement [Steering column shroud upper panel] • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
