Replacement

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the gear knob & gear boots (A) pull both of it up.

2.	Using a remover and remove the console upper cover (A).

3.	Press the lock pin and separate the various connectors (A).

4.	Remove the storage box pad (A).

5.	Remove the parking brake cover (A).

6.	Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear console assembly (A).

7.	Loosen the mounting screws, clips and remove the front console assembly (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector. 3. Measure the resistance between terminal "+" and "-" of the evaporator temperature sensor.
