Replacement
Hyundai Venue. Front Seat Back Cover. Repair procedures   
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
1.
Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")
2.
Remove the front seat shield outer cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Shield Outer Cover")
3.
Remove the front seat shield inner cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Shield Inner Cover")
4.
Push the lock pin and remove the front seat headrest (A).

Remove the front seat lower protector (A).

Remove the front seat back board (A).

•
Be careful not to break the retaining clip.
•
Push out the jaws (B) one by one.
•
Remove the bottom of the backboard in the direction of the arrow, holding it with both hands and lifting it from the bottom up.

Pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching both side of the lower part of the guides, and remove them.

Separate the side airbag connector (A).

Remove the front seat back protector (A).

Remove the front seat back lower protector (A) and front seat back cover.

11.
After removing the hog-ring clips (A) inside the front seat back cover, remove the seat back cover (B).

•
Be careful not to break the sponge insert wire.

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•
Make sure that the connectors are connected completely.
•
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
•
To prevent wrinkles, make sure that the cover (B) is stretched evenly before connecting the hog-ring clips (A).
•
Replace the hog-ring clips with new ones using special tool (C) (09880-4F000).

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the temperature control actuator connector. 3. Verify that the temperature control actuator operates to the cool position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7.
