Hyundai Venue (QX): Rear Seat / Rear Seat Latch. Repair procedures

Replacement

•	Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

1.	Remove the rear seat back cover. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Back Cover")

Remove the rear seat latch rod (A), loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear seat latch (B).

Tightening torque :

16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb-ft)

3.	To install, reverse the removal procedure.
