Removal 1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. 2. Loosen the mounting bolts (A) and then, turn the adjusting bolt (B) clockwise in loose tension.
Removal and Installation 1. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Timing System - "Dreve Belt") 2.

Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model.

Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery / recycling / charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator.
