Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least 3 minutes
before beginning work.

Remove the roof trim.

Remove the curtain airbag after disconnecting the curtain airbag harness
connector and loosening the mounting bolts.

Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.

Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes.

Tighten the curtain airbag mounting bolts.
|
| 4. |
Connect the curtain airbag connector.
|

Install the roof trim.

Reconnect the battery negative cable.

Airbag Disposal When you scrap a vehicle equipped with an airbag, you must deploy it first. When you deploy an airbag, you need to have a skilled mechanic do the work.
Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model.
