| Description |
The In-car air temperature sensor is built in the heater & A/C control unit.
The sensor contains a thermistor which measures the temperature of the inside.
The signal decided by the resistance value which changes in accordance with
perceived inside temperature, is delivered to heater control unit and according
to this signal the control unit regulates in-car temperature to intended value.
Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.
Diagnosis With GDS 1. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning can be quickly diagnosed failed parts with vehicle diagnostic system (GDS).

Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model.
