| Removal |

Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes
before beginning work.

Remove the door scuff trim.
(Refer to Body - "Interior Trim")

Remove the center pillar trim.
(Refer to Body - "Interior Trim")

| 4. |
Remove the front seat belt upper anchor bolt.
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the front seat belt pretensioner connector (A) and then remove
the seat belt pretensioner (B).

Remove the luggage side trim.
(Refer to Body - "Luggage Side Trim")

Remove the rear pillar trim.
(Refer to Body - "Rear Pillar Trim")
|
| 3. |
Remove the rear seat belt pretensioner after loosening mounting bolts
and seat belt lower anchor bolt.

| Installation |
| 1. |
Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
|
| 2. |
Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes.
|
| 3. |
Install the seat belt pretensioner.
|
| 4. |
Connect the seat belt pretensioner connector.
|
| 5. |
Install the front seat belt upper anchor bolt.
|
| 6. |
Install the center pillar trim.
(Refer to Body - "Interior Trim")
|
| 7. |
Install the door scuff trim.
(Refer to Body - "Interior Trim")
|
| 8. |
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
|
| 9. |
After installing the seat belt pretensioner, confirm proper system operation
:

Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.

| 2. |
Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes.

Install the seat belt pretensioner.
|
| 4. |
Connect the seat belt pretensioner connector.
|
| 5. |
Install the front seat belt upper anchor bolt.
|
| 6. |
Install the rear pillar trim.
|
| 7. |
Install the luggage side trim.

Description The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser and detects ambient air temperature. It is a negative type thermistor; resistance will increase with lower temperature, and decrease with higher temperature.
Description The cruise control system is engaged by the cruise "ON/OFF" main switch located on right of steering wheel column. The system has the capability to cruise, coast, accelerate and resume speed. It also has a safety interrupt, engaged upon depressing brake or shifting select lever.
