Replacement

When removing the fender, wrap protective tape around a screwdriver or remover not to damage components
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries

When removing the clips, use a clip remover.
1.
Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover")
2.
Remove the head lamps.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Head Lamps")
3.
Remove the front wheel guard.
(Refer to Body Side Molding - "Front Wheel Guard")
4.
Using a remover and remove the fender garnish (A).

5.
Loosen the mounting screws and remove the front bumper side braket (A).

6.
Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the fender assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.7 - 0.9 kgf.m, 5.1 - 6.5 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

    Inspection 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel (A). (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the crash pad lower switch (A).
