Replacement 1. Remove the TailGate trim. (Refer to tailgate - "Tailgate Trim") 2. Using a flat-tip screwdriver, lift up slightly the socketclips (A) of both ends on the lifter (B), and thenremove the lifter from the bracket.
Replacement • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Inspection 1. Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation. 2. If the blower motor does not operate well, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation.
