Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the glove box.
(Refer to Body - "Glove Box Housing")

3. |
Remove the smart key unit (A) after loosening the nuts.

Remove the smart key unit the connectors (A).

For the european specification, when removing the IBU connector,
the IBU will be damaged by safety bracket (A).
So, replace IBU with a new one.

Install the body control module.

Connect the cable of GDS to the data link connector in driver side crash
pad lower panel, and turn on the GDS...

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the driver crash pad lower panel...
Other information:
Fuse Inspection
1.
Be sure there is no play in the fuse holders, and that the fuses are
held securely.
2.
Are the fuse capacities for each circuit correct?
3.
Are there any blown fuses?
If a fuse is to be replaced, be sure to use a new fuse of the same capacity...
Removal
1.
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub.
