Replacement
Hyundai Venue. Front Door Module. Repair procedures   
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover,wrap protective tape around the tools to preventdamage to components.
•
Take care not to scratch the body surface.
1.
Remove the front door window glass.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Window Glass")
2.
Remove the front door outside handle.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Outside Handle")
3.
Loosen the front door outside handle screw (A).

4.
Loosen the front door latch screws.
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.0 lb-ft)

Press the lock pin and separate the front door main connector (A).

6.
Loosen the front door moodule bolts and remove the front door module (A).
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

7.
Disconnect the various connector fron the front door module and separate the front door module wiring harness (A).
8.
Remove the front door latch assembly.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Latch Assembly")
9.
Remove the front power window motor.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")
10.
To install, reverse removal procedure.

•
Make sure connectors are connected properly and each rod is connected securely.
•
Make sure the door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.

    Component Location 1. Front door module

    Removal 1. Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim") 2. Cut the heat welds with a knife and remove the front door inside handle (A).

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the driver crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the steering column upper and lower shroud panel.

    Self Diagnosis 1. Self-diagnosis process.    • When operating the self-diagnostics, the below fault(self-diagnostics code) will blink at 0.
