Replacement

•	Be careful not to damage the hood and body.

•	Removing or installing the hood requires an assistant.

•	When removing the clips, use a clip remover.

Loosen the hood hinge mounting bolts (A) and remove the hood assembly (B).

Tightening torque :

21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.9 - 19.5 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the hood locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.

•	Adjust the hood alignment.

Hood Insulator Pad. Repair procedures❯

Replacement 1. Using a clip remover, remove the clips and then the hood insulator pad (A). • Be careful not to scratch the hood panel.

Removal 1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
