| Removal |

Turn OFF ignition switch and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Remove the shift lever knob & boots (A) pull both of it up.

Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console")

Separate the clip (A) of wiring.
|
| 5. |
Separate the air duct (A) from the both side.
|

Remove the snap pin (A) and then separate the select cable (B).

Separate the cable socket (A) from the shift lever, after release the
lock.

Remove the shift lever.

| Installation |

To install, reverse the removal procedures.

Inspection 1. Disconnect the ignition switch connector (B) and key warning switch connector (A) from under the steering column. 2. Check for continuity between the terminals. 3.
Description The immobilizer system will disable the vehicle unless the proper ignition key is used, in addition to the currently available anti-theft systems such as car alarms, the immobilizer system aims to drastically reduce the rate of auto theft.
