Hyundai Venue: TailGate / Tail Gate Assembly. Repair procedures

Remove the TailGate trim.
(Refer to tailgate - "Tailgate Trim")

2. |
Using a flat-tip screwdriver, lift up slightly the socketclips (A) of
both ends on the lifter (B), and thenremove the lifter from the bracket.

Separate the tailgate main wiring (A) from theTailGate.
|
4. |
Separate the nozzle (B).
|
5. |
Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the tailgateassembly (C).
Tightening torque :
21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.9 - 19.5 lb-ft)

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Make sure the tailgate locks / unlocks and opens /closes
properly.
|

|
Adjust the tailgate alignment.
|
•
|
Make sure the connectors are connected in properly.
|
•
|
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
|
|

Other information:
Inspection
In the state of IGN1 ON, when the multi function switch module detects auto
light switch on, tail lamp relay output and head lamp low relay output are controlled
according to auto light sensor's input.
If IGN1 ON, The BCM monitors the range of this supply and raises up a failure
as soon as the supply’s voltage is out of range...
