Replacement
Hyundai Venue. Main Crash Pad Assembly. Repair procedures   
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the front pillar trim.

3.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")
4.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")
5.
Remove the cluster fascia panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Cluster Fascia Panel")
6.
Remove the center fascia panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Center fascia panel")
7.
Remove the audio and AVN head unit.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Audio Unit")
8.
Remove the crash pad center panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Center Panel")
9.
Remove the steering column shroud lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Steering Column Shroud Panel")
10.
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")
11.
Remove the multifunction switch assembly.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Multifunction Switch")
12.
Remove the instrument cluster.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Instrument Cluster")
13.
Remove the heater & A/C control unit .
(Refer to Heating,Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "Heater & A/C Control Unit (MANUAL)")
14.
Using a flat-tip screwdriver and remove the photo sensor (A).

Separate the connector and remove the photo senser (A).

Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad garnish (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the crash pad garnish connector (A).

18.
Using a remover, open the cover and loosen the PAB mounting nuts (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.0 - 8.0 lb-ft)

Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts and remove the main crash pad assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.0 - 8.0 lb-ft)

Press the lock pin and separate the passenger's airbag connectors (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
