| 1. Side Impact Sensor (SIS) |
Description Side Impact Sensor (SIS) system consists of two SIS which are installed at each center pillar nearby (LH and RH). Side Impact Sensor is also called A-SIS because it detects acceleration.
Removal Side Impact Sensor 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
Refrigerant System Service Basics (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery Use only service equipment that is U.L-listed and is certified to meet the requirements of SAE J2210 to remove HFC-134a(R-134a) from the air conditioning system.
Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery / recycling / charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator.
