Hyundai Venue (QX): Ignition Lock Switch / Clutch Pedal. Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad")
3.
Disconnect the ignition lock & clutch switch connector (A).

4.
Separate the push rod (A).

5.
Remove the clutch pedal assembly (A) after loosening the bolts (B).
Tightening torque :
16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 Ib-ft)

Rotate the clutch pedal.
•
Align the clutch pedal hole (B) and the clutch mater cylinder (A) and then removing the clutch pedal.

Installation
1.
To install, reverse the removal procedures.

Align the clutch pedal hole (B) and the clutch mater cylinder (A).
•
Rotate the clutch pedal and then installing the clutch pedal.
