Hyundai Venue (QX): Front Door / Front Door Outside Handle. Repair procedures

Replacement

•	When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover,wrap protective tape around the tools to preventdamage to components.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

Remove the plug hole (A) and loosen the outside handle mounting bolt.

Tightening torque :

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

2.	Remove the front door exterior handle (A) by pushing it rearwards.

3.	Press the lock pin and separate the front door outside handle connector (A).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

•	Make sure the connector is connected properly.

•	Make sure the door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly.

•	Be sure to install the outside handle pad (A) between the outside handle and the door panel.

Component Location 1. Front door outside handle

Replacement 1. Pull down the front door window glass to the lowest level by pressing the power window glass switch.

Removal Precautions for using the plastic pulley • Be careful not to place the pulley to downwards of the floor or table.
