Description The Alternator has eight built-in diodes, each rectifying AC current to DC current. Therefore, DC current appears at alternator "B" terminal.
Components 1. Pulley 2. Front housing 3. Front bearing 4. Stator 5. Rotor 6. Rear bearing 7. Rear housing 8.
Inspection 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel (A). (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the crash pad lower switch (A).
Description The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater is installed at the exit or the backside of heater core. The PTC heater is an electric heater using a PTC element as an auxiliary heating device that supplements deficiency of interior heat source in highly effective diesel engine.
